about

One of two songs that Ken Reynolds and I co-wrote. Better versions of this striptease serenade appear elsewhere, but this is included because of a change in the arrangement. The middle used to be a showcase for a Steve Chapman bass solo, but lacking the sonic cover once provided by Kathren Torraca's keyboard, we felt the sound was too spare. So we lifted the entire instrumental signature from a discarded arrangement of "Why This Passion" (next in the playlist) and used that for the solo.
