As we learned Steve Chapman's ’60s spy fantasy, I remember mass confusion about the difference between mamba and mambo. But if your life is threatened, I guess a poisonous snake is more useful than a Latin beat. Still, we have the beat anyway, thanks to the drum machine. Don’t ask me where I got that accent . . .
