Watching You Go (Live on WMPG-FM, 1996)

from The Boarders: Bloomington Blues by The Boarders

/

about

OK, call it a bonus track -- a selection from The Boarders' performance on "Local Motives," a showcase for Greater Portland bands, on the University of Southern Maine radio station, WMPG-FM. The broadcast took place Jan. 19, 1996, and it was a hair-raiser: We played well enough, but the wind was howling and the rain pouring down, and the boneheaded WMPG sound engineer managed to omit Gretchen's bass from the mix almost completely. This is one of the few usable recordings from the session. “Watching You Go” copyright (C) 1996 by Douglas L. Hubley.
